This project involved a complete gut rehabilitation of the existing building, including extensive remediation related to soil contamination and EPA requirements. The scope also included modifications to county roadways and turning lanes to meet traffic regulations, along with the installation of all-new utilities from the street to support the property’s new use. Following site and infrastructure improvements, DeMartino constructed a new prototype PetSmart location incorporating a Banfield Pet Hospital within the store.
